Love is not a feeling by itself. It is an action, based on it, and the knowledge of love that was shown to us, by God, through his Son.

The sacrifices of praise coming from the lips of God’s people please Him only when accompanied by loving action (cf. Is 58:6, 7; Jas 1:27; 1Jn 3:18).
