The Christian life, is not about remembering a point in time. Salvation is about that, but it is just the beginning. We are called to follow Jesus, and that is not an intellectual exercise. The Bible says that even the demons acknowledge Jesus and shutter! We are Called to Read and study, meditate and pray, serve one another, minister to the weak and poor, share His Story…..You get the idea. If you have been, negligent in this area, confess it. We serve a gracious God who forgives, and separates our sins, as far as the East is from the West. Is that not Amazing! Let’s go out today, filled with the Spirit, and see what God will do. This was a response from God, for being outwardly religious, but inwardly wicked. All our hearts are inherently wicked, but Jesus sent his spirit, and his word, to help us change our hearts. I want you to stop and think about this, with me for a minute. Jesus’s way, is not the world’s way. We are called to Love our enemies, not destroy and overcome, like the worldly view. We overcome with Love and Compassion, just as Jesus did. Think about an enemy, or someone you are at war (there is strife of some sort) with right now. Show compassion and love to them, but don’t do it to get something. Do it because that is how Jesus did it. The rest is not up to us. God Bless you today.

So…..If you want to live the Christian life, to the fullest, you better keep your eye on Jesus. It will help you to throw aside all the other distractions, that will help you be all that Jesus, wants you to be. Whether you are a doctor, lawyer, carpenter, Stay at home mom, programmer, customer service, sales,etc. We still have to live our lives, but Jesus has to be primary. We seemed to have lost this, in the church. You don’t necessarily need to publicly, go on social media and tell the world, but you need close friends that you can trust and will hold you accountable. I’m not saying that social media is not a powerful tool to share, but you may want to have your closest friends, walk with you through it first. It takes a lot of courage, to bare your soul, to the whole world. Especially for those who don’t understand, but……How healing to those whose lives are forever changed, by your courageous obedience, to this verse, who may be also struggling with he same issue. Also, this verse is talking to believers in the church, and not to those who have never given their lives to Christ.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
